About Vidlune

A focused video downloader built around working tools

What this site does

Vidlune is a browser-based video downloader for people who need a local copy of public media they own or have permission to save. Instead of sending visitors through pop-ups, unrelated software or another download site, it prepares the file on our server and returns it as a normal browser download. The service currently focuses on public Instagram Reels, feed videos and IGTV, producing an MP4 with available audio in the best compatible quality Instagram provides, up to 1080p. It works in a modern browser on phones, tablets and computers, with no extension or Vidlune account required.

Tools available now

Our working Instagram Reels Downloader accepts public Reel, feed-video and IGTV links. Paste a supported URL, request the MP4 and save the completed attachment to your device. The same workflow is explained step by step in our iPhone and Android guide. For a computer-specific walkthrough, read how to download Instagram videos on a PC. Public photos and complete carousel posts have a separate Instagram Post Downloader, with individual files and one ordered ZIP. Vidlune does not publish empty platform pages or imply support for YouTube, TikTok, private Instagram posts or Stories. Each tool has its own stated scope.

Why visitors can trust it

Trust starts with clear boundaries. Vidlune never asks for an Instagram username or password and does not attempt to bypass private accounts, follower restrictions or removed posts. A successful request returns a real MP4 rather than a mock file, while unavailable content receives a clear error. The tool does not add a Vidlune watermark, and temporary processing files are removed after the response completes, fails or is cancelled. Free use is limited to three successful downloads per rolling 24 hours, and failed requests do not consume that allowance. Our Privacy Policy explains the limited technical data used for security, rate limits and troubleshooting.
