Instagram Reel downloader not working?

First test the exact Reel link while signed out of Instagram. If it is a public video URL, paste it into Vidlune and wait for the result; if it is private, deleted, login-gated or not a supported video link, no honest downloader can fetch it.

  1. Open the individual Reel in a browser window where you are signed out of Instagram.
  2. Confirm that the page is a video post, not a profile, Explore page, photo, Story or image-only carousel.
  3. Copy the post URL again from Instagram and paste the complete instagram.com address into Vidlune.
  4. Keep the tab open until the MP4 response begins. A refresh during processing can interrupt the request.

A link that only works after you sign in is not a public link for this service. Do not paste an Instagram password, session cookie or access token into a downloader to make it work.

Invalid or rejected URL
Copy the individual Reel, feed-video or IGTV post again. Profile and discovery-page addresses are not media URLs.
Private or unavailable
The post may be private, deleted, login-gated or region-restricted. Vidlune cannot turn unavailable media into a public response.
Processing timeout
The current server job limit is 120 seconds. Close duplicate attempts, wait, and retry once with the same public link.
File does not appear
Check the browser download tray and its Downloads page. The browser may have saved the MP4 even if the page did not change.
No audio or lower quality
The returned file depends on the public source Instagram exposes. Missing source audio or detail cannot be recreated by a downloader.
Unsupported media
Stories, Highlights, photos and image-only carousels are outside the current tool scope.

When the server finished but the file is hard to find

Chrome normally saves a downloaded file to its configured download location. Open the download tray or Chrome’s Downloads page before submitting the link again. If the browser reports a blocked or failed download, check the browser’s own download-error guidance and retry later on a stable connection.

Vidlune returns one MP4 at a time. The current free allowance is three successful downloads per rolling 24 hours; failed links do not count. Keep the boundary clear

A failed download is not a reason to share credentials

A public-link downloader should not need your Instagram login. If a page asks for a password, cookie, access token or an extension before it can fetch a public Reel, stop and use a different workflow. Download only media you own, have permission to save or are otherwise legally allowed to use; Instagram’s Terms of Use remain separate from the act of saving a file.

When the link is public and supported but still fails, wait and retry once. If it continues to fail, keep the public URL and the exact error text for support; do not send private account credentials.
